Announcing Canvas 2017

This October, we’ll be back in Birmingham for a day of thought and action provoking talks.

It’s that time of year again; announcing the launch of this year’s Canvas Conference. On Thursday 26th October, we’ll be back in Birmingham for a day of thought and action provoking talks from people at the coalface of building some of the world’s most interesting products and services.

This’ll be our sixth year, and we’re proud to have grown the event over those years – both in terms of size and what it’s all about. From a narrower focus on front-end development, we’ve evolved to a wider focus on how boundary-breaking products are built; the challenges we face as product-makers, how we solve them and how we do better.

From how Facebook designs for new VR experiences, to how Netflix use testing to deliver the content they know you’ll love, we’ve opened up the Canvas stage to a fantastic array of individuals and organisations.

Following six sell-out years, we’re very excited to be moving to a bigger venue – the historic Birmingham Town Hall – meaning we’ll now be welcoming 500 people to learn and get inspired from their fellow product people.

As with previous events, after a day of talks we’re putting on a well-deserved after-party just over the road at Rub Smokehouse to continue the conversations.

Our first round of speakers

We’re thrilled to announce our first set of speakers for 2017:
