It’s been a while since our last update, but behind the scenes we’ve been busy making plans for our fifth Canvas Conference.

As always, we’re working hard to identify unique speakers who have interesting stories to share from the front line of building widely-admired products & services.

We’re very excited to add two new speakers to the line-up, who are leading products that we truly don’t know what we’d do without.

So, read on to see who’s been added to the line-up…

Colin McFarland

Merci Victoria Grace

Two new amazing speakers

Colin McFarland is Head of Experimentation at Skyscanner, the world’s travel search engine. Colin believes our intuition is usually wrong but experiments can help. We’re thrilled to have a seasoned speaker like Colin join the line-up, fresh off appearances at Design It Build It and Leanconf earlier this year. For a great introduction into Colin’s work, read his post on the ‘Common Pitfalls in Experimentation’.

Merci Victoria Grace is Head of Growth Products at Slack, helping to make your working life simpler, more pleasant and more productive. She’s also the Founder of the Women in Product group in San Francisco, and has previously spoken at conferences such as Habit Summit. Take a look at some of her excellent posts here on Medium.

They will join previously announced speakers Jane Austin (The Telegraph), Brian Donohue (Intercom) and Ryan Noonan (Strava).

New partner on board

We’re also very pleased to share that Balsamiq have come on board as a partner of Canvas 2016! Balsamiq is the maker of Mockups - a rapid wire-framing software that combines the simplicity of paper sketching with the power of a digital tool, so that teams can focus on what's important. We can’t thank them enough for their support, and attendees will be given some exclusive deals to try out Balsamiq’s tools.

We’ve sold out of tickets each time we’ve held Canvas - and we really hope this year will be no exception.

We’ll be making another speaker announcement by the end of the month - so make sure you follow @canvasconf on Twitter for updates.
